Community support and determination help UNBC JDC West Team win awards.

PRINCE GEORGE JDC West is an annual business competition featuring top business schools and students across Western Canada. Some UNBC students successfully competed in last month’s games and are thanking the community for their success.

Over 40 delegates from UNBC spent four days in the largest undergraduate business competition in Western Canada. The event is held every January and challenges students to work towards becoming well-rounded business leaders.

Included in the team is a debate, an athletics and a challenges team and UNBC came home with a variety of awards for their efforts.

According to the UNBC JDC West participants, some of the success is thanks to mentors in our community.

The delegation captured first place for most charity dollars raised, first place in marketing, and third place in the debate, while UNBC graduate Ben Walls earned the Growing Legacy Award.
