College Heights victorious in City Basketball Finals

PRINCE GEORGE– The City Finals for senior basketball took place last night at the Northern Sports Centre up at UNBC which saw College Heights Secondary School go head to head with Prince George Secondary School.

The Senior Girls finals kicked off the special night which saw the undefeated College Heights Cougars play the PGSS Polars. Despite the Polars’ efforts to stop them, the Cougars continued their dominance all year but this time in the finals. They run away with this game with a 75 to 11 victory over PGSS.

On the men’s side, it was the 3rd time this season PGSS and College Heights faced off against each other. In previous matchups the Cougars were victorious but all games were extremely close and down to the wire. It seemed like Deja Vu for a 4th time this season as once again it was College Heights pulling off a 66-57 victory over the PGSS Polars.

The girls’ team is now off to provincials while the boys will play have to play in Zones for a provincials birth
