Prince George celebrates winter with Downtown Winterfest
PRINCE GEORGE — On Saturday, the community came out to Veterans Plaza to celebrate winter at the Downtown Winterfest.
Veterans Plaza near city hall was transformed into a winter playground as multiple activities were held for the community.
The event started at 11 am, and the Royal Canadian Legion held a pancake breakfast as well as serving hot dogs in the afternoon. MP Makeup artistry provided free face painting and people of all ages could make and take home some crafts, all being held at the Legion.
The Cariboo Cougars and Prince George Cougars were on hand to take part in a road hockey game.
