2023 Jeanne Clarke History Award winners announced

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Public Library was host to the 38th annual Jeanne Clarke Awards on Sunday. Sunday. The award is presented annually by the Library to individuals or groups for outstanding contributions in the preservation and promotion of local history in the categories of Publication and Service.

Elder Edie Frederick won the 2023 Jeanne Clark Service Award along with Jennifer Annais Pighin for their work in preserving and promoting local history.

Liz Bryan, won the 2023 publication award for her book “Adventure Roads of BC’s Northwest Heartland”, which is an off-the-beaten track exploration of Interior BC.
