PG Hosts Tourism and Hospitality Conference

PRINCE GEORGE – Over the next three days, Prince George will be hosting the Tourism and Hospitality Conference for the first time. Many of the over 300 delegates are scheduled to visit key areas around the city.

The Prince George Conference and Civic Centre slowly started to fill up Wednesday morning with people from the tourism and hospitality industry.

Some of the delegates arrived earlier this week and had the opportunity to attend events and places that some of us may take for granted. It’s a chance for municipalities to come together to help champion our province’s natural beauty.

“It’s our raw, authentic nature that I think British Columbia has in spades. And whether that’s our cities that are surrounded by nature, like here in Prince George or it’s our magnificent wildlife on the West Coast or in the interior, it’s really the magnetic draw of our nature and our cultures that are formed by nature that attracts people to British Columbia.”
