Man dies after being struck by snow clearing equipment

FORT ST. JOHN — A man is dead after being struck by a piece of snow clearing equipment in Fort St. John.

RCMP responded to the crash at 4:44 p.m. at 100th Street and 99th Avenue yesterday (March 6).

“A BC Conservation Officer came upon the crash shortly after it had occurred and found bystanders providing first aid to an unresponsive adult man,” says the RCMP.

“The man had been struck by a piece of equipment used for snow clearing. EHS transported the man to hospital and despite medical intervention, he succumbed to injuries sustained.”
