Red Robin Canada fires manager involved in weekend altercation at family restaurant

PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George RCMP have confirmed that they attended an incident at the Red Robin restaurant earlier this week concerning an altercation involving patrons and staff. At this time the incident is still under investigation, and so far no criminal charges have been laid.

In statement from Red Robin Canada Vice-President Brian Crawford, he said violence has no place inside their establishments, and confirmed that the manager involved was quicky fired. In addition, the Red Robin restaurant was closed for a day and a half until 5pm Tuesday Night.

Staff affected by the incident were offered counseling supports, and were compensated for lost wages during the closure.
