PRINCE GEORGE — A search warrant was executed at a residence on the 6600 block of Westmount Drive on Friday, March 31, 2023, with the assistance of the North District Emergency Response Team.

Prince George RCMP say that the search was “conducted in relation to an ongoing police investigation into possible identity theft, and resulted in two arrests.”

The B.C. Prosecution Service approved the following charges against 43 year old Prince George resident Vanessa Leona Clarke:

  • Identity Fraud
  • Possession of an Identity Document
  • Fail to Comply with Probation x2

The second suspect was released back to the community.

Police say that this is the second time in two months that police have attended this residence. Back on February 14, 2023, the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at the residence in relation to a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says that during this search, “a large quantity of suspected cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia was seized” and one person was arrested and was subsequently released to the community, pending the full results of the investigation.

Both files remain under investigation.
