PRINCE GEORGE – A date has been set for a School District 57 byelection to fill two vacant seats.
June 17 will be the day voters in Prince George can head to the polls to fill the two spots that were made vacant after trustees Betty Bekkering and Gillian Burnett resigned from their positions in early March.
Nominations will be received by the Chief Election Officer or Deputy Chief Election Officer, by appointment, from 9 a.m.Tuesday, May 2, 2023 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023.
For those who plan to fax in their nomination papers, you are asked to bring in original copies of the nomination papers to SD47 by no later than May 19.
