Passport office now set to launch on May 17
PRINCE GEORGE — After being postponed due to the federal public workers strike, the Prince George passport office now has a new date for opening.
In a statement to CKPG News, Employment and Social Development Canada says that they “are working hard to get things back to normal”. The department responsible for passport services says that they are on track to have 10-day passport services in Prince George launch on Wednesday, May 17.
The original launch for the passport office in Prince George was April 25, but was postponed indefinitely due to the federal public workers strike.
The location for the office will be at 1363 4th Avenue in the Service Canada building.
