Wildfire threat looms large with little to no rain in the forecast
PRINCE GEORGE- After a brutal spring with plenty of heat and very little rain, wildfires are still ripping through the northern part of the province.
In the Prince George Fire Centre, there have been over 130 wildfires and more than 450 thousand Hectares burnt since April 1.
Looking ahead at the forecast, it isn’t promising. Highs of 30 degrees and more are expected heading into the weekend with very little rain.
