PRINCE GEORGE — We start with the men’s side after a successful season last year which saw them earn a playoff birth. They’ll look to repeat that journey to the post-season starting with their home opener on November 3rd against the Fraser Valley Cascades with the doubleheader set the next night on November 4th. After a Bye week and another 2 home games, the men will hit the road for the first time and meet up with the perennial power Alberta Golden Bears on November 24th and 25th. The Next notable games come After the winter layoff, when Todd Jordan’s program will host the Lethbridge Pronghorns at the NSC on January 5th and 6th. Also finishing the season at home against the Saskatchewan Huskies on February 9th and February 10th.

Now to the woman’s side. They also start at home facing the team that bounced them from the postseason in the UFV Cascades. It’s part two of that rivalry and should be a great matchup. Like the men the first road games are set on November 24th and 25th as they take on the reigning Canada West champions, the Alberta Pandas. Then close out the first half of the year traveling to UBCO to take on the heat. It will be an interesting year for the Woman’s team after losing UNBC legend Alina Shakirova and veteran starters Olivia Wilson and Jenna Korolek. But will go forwards with conference rebounding champion Sveta Boykova and guard Sarah Kuklisin.
