Summer construction in full swing

PRINCE GEORGE – Coastal GasLink released an update on their 670-kilometre project route.

According to the document, more than 630 kilometres of pipe have been installed and crews are now busy completing distinct work fronts, such as water crossing and steep slopes.

“Hydrotesting is either complete or underway in every section, a critically important phase of the project that ensures we can safely transition our best-in-class infrastructure into operations,” said Coastal GasLink.

According to the company, nearly 4,800 workers are currently working on the project to complete the remaining critical items, while ensuring important environmental management measures are in place.
