NAIG Recap: Krawczyk siblings bring home silver medals

PRINCE GEORGE — The North American Indigenous Games were an incredible experience for Nicholas and Mischa Krawczyk. The siblings represented Team BC at the games with both taking home hardware in their respective sports.

For Nicholas, he represented BC on the Lacrosse court where the 19U Male team found themselves in the finals after finishing the round robin with a winning record. Unfortunately, BC fell to Ontario in the gold medal game but silver was still history for the team and an incredible feeling for the Prince George boy.

For Mischa, she starred on the Beach Volleyball court for Team BC. But her favourite part of the games happened at the very beginning of the trip. Walking out for opening ceremonies with all her teammates in front of thousands of fans.

Both siblings received tons of support from each other, and both came home with silver medals around their necks, a pretty cool accomplishment for the Krawczyk family.
