KODIAKS PREP

Prince George Kodiaks prepare for another tough battle against Westshore Rebels this weekend

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Kodiaks took the field last night continuing prep for their second game of the year. This comes after dropping the season opener to the Okanagan Sun back on July 29th. A game where the Kodiaks got blanked on the scoreboard.

The team knows that the offense needs to step up this week. A starting QB has not been named yet, with coach Jamie Boreham looking to ride the hot hand in practice into Saturday.

It doesn’t get any easier though as the Kodiaks are set to take on the Westshore Rebels. A team that has yet to lose this year and has outscored their opponents 139-10. The Rebel’s offense has put up 69 and 70 points in the two games they’ve played.

The Kodiak’s defense is up to the challenge of slowing the Westshore down. They’ll also have the help of the crowd after fans packed Masich Place Stadium for the home opener.

The gates will be opening at 2:00 pm this Saturday with kickoff set to get underway at 4:00 pm.
