PRINCE GEORGE – Tourism Prince George is bringing back the Long Table Harvest on Friday, Sept. 29. This event, which debuted last year, is now an annual celebration of Prince George’s food and beverage industry—which is a staple to the visitor economy.

“There was definitely an appetite for The Long Table Harvest when we launched it last fall. Tickets sold out within a week,” said Tourism Prince George’s CEO Colin Carson. “This year we’ve added more seats to the table, allowing more people to enjoy an evening of unique dishes prepared by local chefs using local ingredients.”

The event is also a night to appreciate local farmers, making the Long Table Harvest a true farm-to-table experience. This year the line-up of delicacies will include: cocktail hors d’oeuvres, two appetizers, a main dish and dessert. The multiple chefs, who will each present a course, come from an array of backgrounds ranging from specialty food trucks to restaurants. “We are looking forward to indulging in another unique take on locally grown and raised food,” added Carson. The event is open to the public. It will take place at Art Knapp Prince George on Sept. 29. Tickets for the event are now available
