PGSS locked down following altercation

PRINCE GEORGE — An altercation at Prince George Secondary just after 11:30 Wednesday morning briefly locked down the school.

RCMP say they responded after receiving a report of an altercation involving possible students.

“The people involved are young adults and one person was reported to be injured. The mechanism and extent of the injury has yet to be determined,” says North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson.

“The investigation is in the very early stages; however, police have identified several people involved and do not believe there to be any further risk to the public. The people involved are known to each other.”
