PRINCE GEORGE – Carrier Sekani Family Services’ new recruitment campaign, Practice Differently, focuses on how culture is at the centre of everything they do.

The campaign speaks to how CSFS is an employer of choice, with meaningful work, work-life balance, competitive salaries, and excellent benefits. A new recruitment video portrays the story of a young Carrier child and shows her journey and various interactions with CSFS along the way, including social workers, nurses and legal services. The video shows the significance CSFS plays in the lives of those who access the services and how the employees’ lives are intrinsically affected by their involvement in the Carrier and Sekani communities. The campaign reinforces how CSFS practices differently.

“We take into account where our clients are comfortable and how to meet people’s needs,” says Marlaena Mann, Executive Director of Communications and Technology at CSFS. “Working here has sparked curiosity in my own heritage and I have learned so much about Indigenous heritage as well.”

“At CSFS we pride ourselves in being professionally attractive with a progressive and development-focused service delivery, while also placing equal value on culture and relationship-building,” says Warner Adam, CSFS CEO. “People are at the heart of everything we do, both those we serve and our strong and talented staff. I invite you to consider what we call ‘a foot in two worlds,’ as a career with CSFS will highlight expertise, best practices, and rich Indigenous cultural engagement – making a difference in the lives of the people we serve is the heart of our foundation.”
