Rocky Mountain Rangers change of command ceremony taking place Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — The Rocky Mountain Rangers will be holding a Change of Command ceremony Saturday, September 30.

It will be a significant event in the regiment’s history, as it recognizes the transition from outgoing Commanding Officer Lieutenant-Colonel Amedeo Vecchio, CD to the incoming commanding officer Lieutenant-Colonel Torry White, CD.

During the ceremony, remarks will be offered by Brigade Commander Colonel Scott Raesler, CD as well as the outgoing and incoming commanding officers, respectively.

The ceremony is a unique opportunity to witness the official handover of leadership within the Rocky Mountain Rangers and to celebrate the dedication and service of these esteemed officers.

The ceremony will be taking place at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, with the doors opening at 3:30 pm and the ceremony commencing at 4 pm.
