Youth involved in suspicious incident at College Heights Secondary safe say RCMP

PRINCE GEORGE — RCMP say the youth involved in a suspicious incident Wednesday at College Heights Secondary School is home safe with her parents.
Mounties went public after witnesses saw the youth dropped off at school by a black pickup during the lunch hour and later picked up by someone in a silver sedan.
RCMP are still looking to speak with the owner of the black pickup, which has since been identified as a newer model Dodge Ram.
“We want to commend the witnesses who spoke to police about what they saw yesterday; thankfully in this scenario everyone was safe, but it is always important to follow your instincts and speak up if you see something unusual or that makes you uncomfortable,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
