Engage Sport North encouraging young athletes to take Podium Search test

PRINCE GEORGE — Engage Sport North and the Pacific Canadian Sport Insitute were present at Duchess Park Secondary Thursday Morning, looking for the next great athletes through a Podium Search.

Kids at Duchess Park were put through four tests, a mid-thigh pull, a counter movement jump, a 30-metre sprint, and the Beep Test.

It won’t be the last time they do testing here in Prince George. One final session is available Saturday Morning at the Northern Sports Centre open to everyone age 14+ and is completely free. And even if you don’t think you’re the best athlete you’re still encouraged to come out and test yourself!
