RCMP asking for help in finding missing man

[UPDATE 12:30]: The Prince George RCMP said the 21-year-old Joshua McKimmon has been located and is safe. They thank the members of the public and the Prince George Search & Rescue Society for their assistance with this investigation.

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in finding a missing man from Giscome, B.C.

According to the police, frontline officers responded to a report this morning (Oct. 14) that 21-year-old Joshua McKimmon had left his residence in Giscome, approximately 45 kilometres northeast of Prince George.

Authorities say that Joshua has special needs and requires medication every day. He is described as a caucasian male, 193 cm (6’4”) tall with short dark brown hair with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a camouflage cargo pants, dark hoodie and white Nike runners with red tongues.
