Vanderhoof RCMP are looking for man in relation to the Aquatic Centre Damage.

VANDERHOOF— Vanderhoof’s Christmas season took a sour turn last year when on Friday, December 23, 2022 extensive damaged was caused to the Vanderhoof Aquatic Center after 130,000 gallons of water flooded the maintenance room. Approximating about $500,000 damage to the pool systems.

During the Investigation, police have obtained photos of an individual who may have information related to the mischief. While the images are poor quality, Mounties hope the public can help identify this person.

The RCMP believe the damage to the Aquatic Centre was intentionally caused.
