“Fill the Fleet” is underway

PRINCE GEORGE – The Northern Regional Construction Association has launched its annual holiday drive, but it’s a bit different this year.

The Northern Regional Construction Association is proud to announce its upcoming ‘Fill the Fleet’ donation event on November 18th, and will be accepting donations from November 7th to 18th, 2023 at their office.

This initiative aims to support three local charities: Carrier Sekani Family Services, Salvation Army, and the PG Humane Society.

The NRCA invites our community to join in this charitable endeavor by contributing warm clothing and items for Carrier Sekani Family Services, non-perishable food for the Salvation Army, and pet supplies for the PG Humane Society.

In addition to physical donations, the NRCA is pleased to accept cash contributions, allowing donors to distribute their funds to one or more of the participating charities.

Event Details:

• Drop Off Period for Donations: November 7th to 17th from 8:00am to 4:00pm (Excluding the weekend)

• ‘Fill The Fleet’ Dona�on Event: November 18th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

• Location: NRCA Office at 3851 18th Ave., Prince George, BC, V2N 1B1

On November 18th, the NRCA will host the main event where community members are encouraged to drop off their donations between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

“This ‘Fill the Fleet’ event is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our community,” remarked Nicole Bryant, CEO of the NRCA. “We are excited to facilitate this opportunity for individuals to come together and make a tangible, positive impact on the lives of those who may need support during this season.”

The organization encourages community members to bring their donations to the event, see construction on equipment, and learn more about the industry.
