Cariboo Cougars prepare for 10th annual Pink in the Rink game this weekend
PRINCE GEORGE —Well, the Spruce Kings are out of town and so are the Prince George Cougars. However, Saturday is a big one for the U18 Cariboo Cougars as the puck is set to drop for the 10th annual Pink In The Rink game.
Not only will the Cougars be the only hockey team playing in Prince George, they’ll have one of the most exciting matchups of the weekend taking on a team that’s only one point behind them in the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
Puck drop is set for 6:30 on Saturday at Kin 1. And to make sure this is a special game, the 50/50 jackpot starts at $1,000 with tickets sold going towards the Kordyban Lodge. There also will be the Fanboni for intermissions and Rowdy Ct will also make a special appearance.
