RCMP host Cram-A-Cruiser event to support Salvation Army Food Bank

PRINCE GEORGE – Many organizations are doing charity events right now and the RCMP had their own this weekend as well. They hosted their annual Cram-A-Cruiser event.

“Today we are outside three Save-On-Food locations trying to stuff our police car or cram our police cruisers full of groceries just in time for the holidays all benefiting the Salvation Army Food Bank.”

– CPL Jennifer Cooper, Prince George RCMP

The RCMP have been doing this event for a while and throughout those years they’ve worked with several other charities, but regardless of who the donated items are going to, Prince George is always willing to help out.

“Normally, Prince George is incredibly generous and we have to have runners come and pick up our overflow. […] So, hopefully, we can fill this one up once, if not more.”

If you missed out on the Cram-A-Cruiser event that’s okay, because the Salvation Army is always looking for non-perishable donations year-round.
