Where can you recycle your Christmas Tree?

PRINCE GEORGE – With Christmas behind us, some may be looking ahead to ways to recycle their Christmas Trees. The City of Prince George announced you will be able to do this for free, but you’ll have to wait a bit.
On the weekend of January 6 and 7 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., you can drop your tree off at the CN Centre parking lot near the intersection of 18th Avenue and Ospika Boulevard. Partnering with local organizations Job’s Daughters, the service is free, but any donations to Job’s Daughters would be greatly appreciated.
When dropping your tree off it must have all decorations removed, and must be a real tree. Once the weekend wraps up. the City will chip the trees into mulch and reuse it in local parks in the spring.
