First baby of the year in northern B.C. a girl

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern B.C.’s first baby of 2024 was born in Prince George Monday morning.

According to Northern Health, Baby Holland was born at the University Hospital of Northern BC on January 1 at 1:04 am to mom and dad Amy and Jaden Janzen of Burns Lake, weighing in at six pounds, eight ounces.

Baby Holland is her parents’ first child. CKPG Today will post a photo of Baby Holland once permission from the family is granted.
