PRINCE GEORGE — The BC Winter Games have wrapped up with the Cariboo-North East region winning 17 medals. Two of those medals were won by athletes at the Prince George Gymnastics Club.

Brianna Perry and Khloe Spencer earned hardware for each of their events but overall had a great time at their first-ever BC Winter Games.

For Khloe Spencer, she earned a gold medal in the CCP 7 – Women’s Vault. Now she’s looking forward to the next competitions and improving her all-around skills as a gymnast

For Brianna Perry, she brought home a silver medal in CCP 7 – Women’s Beam. Performing on such a big stage can be hard for any athlete but she calmed her nerves and was proud of her routine when all was said and done.

Both will get back to work now as the Prince George Gymnastics Club as a whole prepares for Westerns.
