Driver of a white SUV wanted for questioning after an alleged incident with school children

PRINCE GEORGE—Local mounties are looking to speak with the the driver of a white SUV after alleged reports that the driver approached several students at a bus stop and offered them a ride. The student declined the ride and were picked up by the school bus a short time later. Upon arrival at school they reported the event to administration.

The students report the driver of the mid-sized white SUV with a bird sticker on the back window was a South Asian man with curly black hair and was wearing a grey or blue sweater.

The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 near Galinis Avenue and Dornbierer Crescent.

“Investigators would like to speak with the driver to determine their exact involvement in this incident,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
