PRINCE GEORGE — The Para events have announcers; while you might not see them at Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, you will hear them.

A lot goes into preparing to be on-site announcers. For Julie Beaulieu and Alan March, remembering and sharing stats about athletes comes easy as they enjoy what they do.

Their chemistry on the mics would have fooled you into thinking they’ve known each other forever, but that’s not true—they just met a few weeks ago.

Each has a specific role and position regarding the broadcast. One focuses on what is happening on the field of play, while the other discusses athletes’ achievements and goals.
