Spruce Kings beat Merritt Centennials in overtime

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings secured a 4-3 win in overtime against the Merritt Centennials last night (March 16) on home ice.

Kai Greaves was the start of the game, scoring the winning goal. Owen Goodbrand, JR Perdion and Scott Cousins were the other scorers for Prince George. Charlie Zolin saved 26 shots in the win, while Andrew Ballantyne saved 27 for Merritt.

The Spruce Kings now get ready to welcome the Vernon Vipers on Friday (March 22) at 7 p.m.
