Vipers blank Spruce Kings in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — The Vernon Vipers scored 56 seconds into the first period and held on for a 1-0 victory over the Prince George Spruce Kings in B.C. Hockey League action on Friday (March 22) at Kopar Memorial Arena.
Adam Csabi scored in support of Vernon (31-19-1-0) goaltender Ethan David, who stopped 34 saves to pick up the shutout between the pipes.
Prince George (15-33-3-0) netminder Charlie Zolin made 15 saves in a losing effort.
The Spruce Kings will host the rematch on Saturday (March 23), a 6 p.m. start at Kopar Memorial Arena.
