Cougars take Game 1 of playoff series against Chiefs

PRINCE GEORGE — Terik Parascak registered three goals for the Prince George Cougars in a 6-1 victory over the visiting Spokane Chiefs on Friday (March 29) in WHL playoff action.
Prince George leads the best-of-seven Round 1 series 1-0, with Game 2 scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday (March 30) at CN Centre.
Conner Roulette opened the scoring for the Chiefs at 3:09 of the first period on Friday, but it was all Cats from that point forward.
Ondrej Becher, Keaton Dowhaniuk and Borya Valis also scored for the Cougars in support of goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen, who stopped 24 shots to pick up the victory between the pipes.
