Myatovic of Prince George signs with Anaheim Ducks

ANAHEIM — Prince George product Nico Myatovic has realized one of his hockey dreams.

On Friday, he signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.

Myatovic, who enjoyed a stellar career with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL, will report to the San Diego Gulls for the remainder of this season on an amateur tryout.

The Gulls are the American Hockey League affiliate of the Ducks.

Myatovic was selected by Anaheim in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.
