Police standoff at the Bon Voyage Inn

PRINCE GEORGE — A police standoff is taking place at the Bon Voyage Inn in Prince George.
The Inn – which is located on the 4200-block of Highway 16 West – told CKPG News that it started Friday (April 5) afternoon at about 3:30 p.m. CKPG was on scene and saw at least six officers with guns drawn towards one unit at the motel.
The police dog service team is also outside the unit with Prince George RCMP asking the public to avoid the area until what they’re calling “a police incident” wraps up.
No word on who is inside the unit or the reason for the police presence. We’ll update this story as soon as we receive more information.
