Spruce Kings shut out by Vees in Penticton

PENTICTON — It was déjà vu on Saturday (April 6) for the Prince George Spruce Kings.

The Penticton Vees blanked visiting Prince George 3-0 to take a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven B.C. Hockey League series.

The hometown Vees won by the same scoreline on Friday night.

Prince George will host Games 3 and 4 of the Round 1 series on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Game time is 7 p.m. both nights at Kopar Memorial Arena.
