PRINCE GEORGE — Joshua Ravensbergen recorded his first post-season shutout for the Prince George Cougars in a 4-0 victory over the Kelowna Rockets on Friday (April 12) at CN Centre.

“We have the best goaltending in the league,” Cougars’ head coach and general manager Mark Lamb told CKPG Today prior to the Round 2 WHL series. “That’s a real luxury for us.”

Ephram McNutt, Terik Parascak, Keaton Dowhaniuk and Borya Valis scored in support of Ravensbergen, the 17-year-old goaltender who made 21 saves in front of sellout crowd of 5,867.

The Cougars — who have won 14 straight games — lead the Rockets 1-0 in the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series.
