Meet Teddy and Trixie: the adorable dynamic duo

PRINCE GEORGE— What’s better than one cat? Two cats. Teddy and Trixie are currently rooming together at the Prince George Humane Society but are in search of a new home.

Teddy is a 2 year old short hair who is very treat motivated. Preferring a calm lifestyle Teddy is a little shy at first but loves to cuddle up to older teens and adults.

Trixie is similar, not being a big party animal. However when someone offers treats she’s ready to make a new best friend. Trixie is also 2 years old like Teddy but due to a previous hematoma in her ear requires a bit of extra care.

“The ear is quite swollen still and it’ll stay that way because of the scar tissue buildup. So, sometimes her ear can get a little more dirty, and she can’t always expel that dirt.” explains Jamie Walsh, the animal care coordinator at the PG Humane Society. Walsh adds that it’s important to check her ear regularly or it could develop an infection.

While you are able to adopt a single cat the pair would be perfect for those looking to add two felines to their family. If you would like to adopt them you can visit the PG Humane Society website or see them in person.
