Registration opens for 2024 Terry Fox Run in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — You can now register for this year’s Terry Fox Run in Prince George.

It takes place September 15 at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park and you can register by clicking here.

Prince George has a strong connection to Terry Fox. In 1979, six months before he started his Marathon of Hope, he came to Prince George to run in the17-mile long Labour Day Classic.

He completed it and the connection is that after the race, he announced in public for the first time that he was going to do his Marathon of Hope.
