Cougars one win away from Western Conference Finals after thrilling overtime win in Kelowna

KELOWNA — The Prince George Cougars have taken a commanding lead in their best-of-seven Western Conference semi-final series versus the Kelowna Rockets.

This after the Cats beat Kelowna in overtime Tuesday night, 4-3. Matteo Danis scored the game winner 1:22 into the extra frame to seal the win.

With the victory, Prince George leads the series 3-0 with Game 4 scheduled for Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Kelowna.

Hudson Thornton, Ondrej Becher and Borya Valis scored the other goals while Joshua Ravensbergen picked up his sixth win of the post-season, making 32 saves.
