Timberwolves men’s soccer boosting their defence with new committment
PRINCE GEORGE— The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team has announced the committment of Luke Graham for the 2024 Canada West season.
“The whole experience at UNBC was super welcoming. Everybody was coming up to me, dabbing me up and introducing themselves. It seems like a great community that has been built and I’m excited to be a part of it,” remarked Graham who visited UNBC alongside fellow recent commitment Mehdi Bounaaja back in January. His plan is to study Anthropology. “Coach Steve is great and has already helped me become a better player.”
The 6’1″ left back is a product of Chiliwack B.C. and is soon to graduate from Unity Christian School. Graham tries to pattern his game after Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold stating: “I’m a passer. I love seeing through the field, seeing through lines and picking out difficult passes to execute and making them work.”
“He’s a good playmaker, and can pass the ball really well,” added Steve Simonson. “He’s got a varied skill set. He’s a solid body that can help us defend, but he can also join the attack. His versatility as a defender is going to be huge for us.”
