PG Fire Rescue douses downtown fire

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue doused a commercial truck and tire fire Wednesday night.

Crews arrived on scene at approximately 8:30 p.m. to find a large black plume of smoke coming from the area of 448 4th Avenue.

One crew of four members and one apparatus had the fire extinguished within minutes of their arrival. Fire cause is unknown and being investigated.

No members of public or fire personnel were injured at this scene.
