Cougars host Kelowna in Game 5 Friday night

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars can punch their ticket to the WHL’s Western Conference Final with a win Friday night versus the visiting Kelowna Rockets at CN Centre.

The Cougars lead the series 3-1. They will meet the winner of the Portland/Everett series. Portland leads that series 3-0 with Game 4 schedule for Friday night in Everett.

If the Rockets win Friday’s game, Game 6 will take place Sunday afternoon in Kelowna. A Game 7, if necessary, would be in Prince George on Tuesday.

As of Thursday afternoon, the Cougars told CKPG News that there were only standing room tickets left.

Game time Friday night is 7 p.m.
