PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have announced a player commitment as Zachary Hachey is headed to Prince George for the 2024/2025 season.

“From Saint-Lambert, Quebec, Hachey is a defenceman who will not only bring skill to the back end of Prince George but plenty of size. Hachey will be 17-years-old when he arrives in PG, standing at 6’3″ and 201 lbs currently,” says the Spruce Kings.

The last two seasons of Hachey’s hockey career have been spent with the Collège Charles-Lemoyne Riverains QM18AAA team. In 2022/2023, Zach was named an alternate captain. In 2023/2024, he was named the captain of the squad.

In 41 regular season games this past season, Hachey recorded 19 points, adding three more in six playoff games.
