Williams Lake RCMP ask for help tracking down two missing men

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. —Update: RCMP say that 82-year-old Tony Ayres has been located and is safe.

The RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance.

Earlier: Williams Lake RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Jackie Ray Siemens, who was last seen on Thursday (April 18) .

Siemens, 48, was last seen at the Tim Hortons on Highway 97 in Williams Lake at about midnight on April 17.

Family and police are concerned for his well-being.

Siemens is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound Caucasian male, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Meantime, police in Williams Lake would like your help finding a missing elderly man whose medical issues may prevent him from getting home.

Tony Ayres, 82, was last seen Monday morning (Apr. 22) at about 10:30, at his home on Wildwood Road.

RCMP say he may have wandered into the forested area around his home.

Tony Ayres is white, 5’7″ tall with a medium build, white hair, blue eyes. He is clean shaven and was last seen wearing grey cargo pants and a dark grey sweater.

In addition to police, search and rescue volunteers are looking for him.

If you spot Tony Ayres, you’re asked to stay with him and call police, as he may be confused and lost.
