PRINCE GEORGE – Council has approved moving forward with the alternate approval process in terms of borrowing $22 million to make upgrades to the Aquatic Centre.

The work includes replacement of the building envelope, roof system, doors, major entry soffits, tiling in the entrance and change rooms and more.

“I do have an issue with with the price tag,” noted Mayor Simon Yu, saying he would like to have a second look at the project. “Let’s not rush it.”
