Part of 7th avenue to be closed to traffic
PRINCE GEORGE—Beginning May 13, a portion of 7th Avenue will be closed to traffic for a month as crews from the city work on the watermain.
The workzone will be between Alward Street and Mcbride Crescent, plus a section of Laurier Crescent between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue.
The project will increase low fire hydrant flow pressure in the area, support future developments, and increase the reliability of the water system.
Budgeted at $750,000, the project will be funded through the Water Distribution System Renewal and Water Distribution System New Budget.
