PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP recently arrested a repeat, violent offender.

The arrest occurred on May 3 after the RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed a search warrant at a home on the 300-block of Nicholson Street after they located a stolen vehicle at the property.

Inside the home, RCMP found two firearms and ammunition as well as items related to the stolen vehicle. Police say multiple people were arrested from inside the home and were released on scene; the primary suspect was held in custody and subsequently released back to the community on an undertaking with attached conditions.

“This is not the first time in the last month that stolen vehicles have been located at this residence. The increase in criminal activity in the area has investigators focusing their attention on this residence and the people residing within, to better ensure public safety in the neighbourhood,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
