Structure fire on Hart causes $320K in damages

PRINCE GEORGE — A busy Thursday morning for Prince George Fire Rescue.

The City says crews from three halls responded to a structure fire on the 7800 block of Emerald Drive at around 2:30 a.m.

“Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flame coming from the front of a single-family residential structure. All five family members and one pet safely exited the structure. A second pet was found by firefighters and revived at the scene. Crews quickly extinguished the fire.”

There were no injuries, and damages are estimated at $320,000.
